[𝗡𝗔𝗡𝗦 𝗢𝗚𝗨𝗡 𝗔𝗫𝗜𝗦/𝗝𝗖𝗖] INSECURITY: NANS THREATENS SHUTDOWN OF TERTIARY SCHOOLS IN OGUN  The leadership of National Association of Nigerian Students Ogun Axis/Joint Campus Committee strongly condemns the unfortunate abduction of two female students of Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ayetoro campus in Yewa-North Local Government Area of Ogun State. Adeyemo Precious and Oyefule Abiola, of the departments of Forestry and Wildlife Management and Agricultural Economics respectively were kidnapped in front of their hostel on Sunday night at Olowu area of Ayetoro while going about their normal academic activities. It's unfortunate that over 1,157 Nigerian  Students have fallen victim to these villains in the last seven years. COVID-19: NANS Urges Ogun Govt To Give Students Priority In Vaccination Distribution

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Ogun State chapter has urged the Ogun State government to give students in the State top priority in the vaccination of residents against COVID-19. NANS said this became necessary following the preparedness of the state government in receiving its portion of COVID-19 vaccines from the Federal government and onward distribution to the various Primary Health Care centres across the State. The Chairman of the NANS, Ogun Joint Campus Committee JCC, Comrade Kehinde Damilola Simeon in a statement in Abeokuta on Saturday called on the Governor Dapo Abiodun and the State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Tomi Coker to consider the vaccination of students from all levels in the State as an urgent assignment.
